Frances Jackson

About
Frances Jackson first established a career in energy policy in government and in finance at Citibank in New York and London. She subsequently established a long track record in the not-for-profit world: in Action Medical Research, chairing the London committee; the National Portrait Gallery Development Board, chairing Individual Giving; the Ashmolean Museum, serving on the £60m capital campaign steering committee, also founding one of the patron groups there.
Frances served as a member of the Board of Directors at St Andrew’s Healthcare, chairing the Audit & Risk Committee and as a (current) Governor. She was an active member of the Independent Monitoring Board at HMP Grendon and Springhill for several years.
Her primary focus is now Think Through Nutrition, a charity founded on rigorous science examining the link between nutrients in the diet and their effect on behaviour, performance and, crucially, mental health. Frances chairs the Board of Trustees of the charity, which is now the leading voice in the field, working to promote and implement practical solutions.
