Trustee Opportunities

Help Shape the Future of Think Through Nutrition

Think Through Nutrition (TTN) is a UK-based charity working at the intersection of nutrition, brain health and behaviour.

We translate scientific evidence into practical programmes, policy influence and scalable solutions that improve health, wellbeing and life opportunities. Our work spans criminal justice, education and preventative health, working alongside partners including the NHS, Ministry of Justice, probation services, schools and universities.

As we enter an exciting phase of growth, we are seeking up to three new Trustees to join our Board.

We are particularly interested in people who bring:

  • Lived experience relevant to the communities we serve

  • Financial literacy and confidence reviewing financial information

  • Accountancy, finance, audit or risk expertise

  • Experience in health, education, criminal justice, public services, technology, communications, fundraising or organisational growth

Previous trustee experience is not required.

Why join us?

This is an opportunity to:

  • Help shape a growing national charity

  • Influence work that addresses the root causes of poor health and inequality

  • Support evidence-based solutions across health, education and justice

  • Work alongside experienced leaders from science, healthcare and public service

  • Develop Board-level governance and leadership experience

Our commitment to inclusion

We are seeking to broaden the diversity of perspectives represented on our Board and particularly welcome applications from people who are currently underrepresented in charity governance, including younger people, people from ethnically diverse backgrounds and individuals with relevant lived experience.

Commitment

  • Four Board meetings each year in central London

  • Approximately 6–10 days per year

  • Three-year term, renewable twice

  • Voluntary role with reasonable expenses reimbursed

How to apply

Please submit a CV or LinkedIn profile together with brief responses to three application questions, available from the link below.

For an informal conversation, please contact our Chair, Suzy Dymond-White.

Join us in helping more people access the knowledge and support they need to improve health, wellbeing and life opportunities through nutrition.
